Rhenium-catalyzed aromatic propargylation.
A mild aromatic propargylation reaction, employing an air- and moisture-tolerant rhenium-oxo complex ((dppm)ReOCl(3)) as a catalyst and a propargyl alcohol as the electrophile, is described. The reaction tolerates a broad range of functional groups and regioselectively affords propargylic arenas without formation of the isomeric allenyl adducts. The potential of this rhenium(V)-catalyzed reacti...
متن کاملAn efficient copper-catalyzed synthesis of anilines by employing aqueous ammonia.
Under the catalysis of CuI/2-carboxylic acid-quinoline-N-oxide, the cross coupling reactions between aryl iodides or bromides and aqueous ammonia proceed very well to afford N-unprotected aniline derivatives in excellent yields. This inexpensive catalytic system shows great functional group tolerance and excellent reaction selectivity.
متن کاملRhenium-catalyzed synthesis of indene derivatives via C–H bond activation*
Rhenium complex, [ReBr(CO)3(thf)]2-catalyzed reactions between aromatic imines and either acetylenes or α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds gave indene derivatives in good to excellent yields. These reactions proceed via C–H bond activation, insertion of acetylenes or α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds, intramolecular nucleophilic cyclization, and reductive elimination. Indene derivatives were a...
متن کاملMicrowave Assisted Synthesis of N-Benzylenaminones Catalyzed by Chloroacetic acid
Benzylaminoalkenones and benzylaminoalkenoates 3 were synthesized from reaction of benzylamine with corresponding 1,3-diketones and 1,3-ketoesters in the presence of catalytic amount of chloroacetic acid under microwave radiation. This method offers several advantages including high yield of products, recyclable of the catalyst and easy experimental work-up procedure.
